When psychotherapy may be useful
Psychotherapy may be helpful when psychological strain persists, symptoms become stronger or everyday life, work, relationships or physical well-being are affected. Whether psychotherapy is appropriate is clarified individually during the first appointments.
- Depressive symptoms, loss of interest or persistent exhaustion
- Anxiety, panic attacks, avoidance behavior or inner tension
- Stress-related symptoms after life changes, loss, conflict or trauma
- Repeated relationship conflicts or difficulties with boundaries and self-esteem
- Psychosomatic complaints influenced by emotional strain
- Obsessive thoughts, compulsive behavior or repetitive worries
- Difficulties dealing with chronic illness, pain or neurological symptoms
- Personal crises, decision conflicts or the wish to better understand recurring patterns
